Play, make and learn through books with the whole family! The 20th Bookamania will be held on Saturday, November 22, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Harold Washington Library Center.

When you share a book with a child, you give them the key to read, learn and discover, and the joy of becoming a lifelong reader. Join us for music, science, crafts, special performances, visits from your favorite storybook characters and LOTS AND LOTS OF BOOKS as we present this celebration of children’s books, learning and play for children ages 3 to 10 and their families.

• Bonny Becker, author of A Library Book for Bear, special performance at 11:30 a.m.
• Kady MacDonald Denton, illustrator of A Library Book for Bear and signature artist of Bookamania 2014, special performance at 1 p.m.
• Ashley Bryan, author and illustrator of Ashley Bryan's Puppets, special performance at 1:45 p.m.
• Dan Santat, author and illustrator of The Adventures of Beekle, special performance at 12:15 p.m.
