Northwest Suburbs Events! 

We hope to develop a vibrant community in the northwest suburbs.  In that vein we have created two different programs: 

I Giftedness Explored is a series that takes place during the day in Palatine.

II Gifted Through the Years is a series that takes place in the evenings, hopefully in Schaumburg. 

These will be augmented with suppers and casual coffees.  

We would be delighted if someone stepped forward to coordinate additional events, such as a kids board game group or a parenting discussion group.  Contact us for more details:  email

II  Gifted Through the Years.  A four part series on an evening during the week hopefully at a conveniently located library in the northwest suburbs.The presentations are about 40 minutes or so prepared followed by questions.

The Chicago Gifted Community Center (CGCC) is a member-driven 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created by parents to support the intellectual and emotional growth of gifted children and their families.

We  are an all volunteer-based organization that relies on annual memberships from parents, professionals, and supporters to provide organizers with web site operations, a registration system, event insurance, background checks, etc.
