Readers Theatre is an interpretive activity in which readers use their voices to bring characters to life. It requires no sets, costumes, props, or memorized lines. The goal of the performers is to read a script aloud effectively, enabling the audience to visualize the actions.

In this class we will be reading scripts out loud.  The focus will be on oral expression, listening and building fluid transitions between characters' lines.

Students should be able to read fluently at the 4th-5th grade level, should be able to sit still, and listen attentively.  This is a great class for anyone interested in theater, speech and debate, or even a future career in law.

Teacher: Michele Gaus Ehning

Minimum/maximum number of students: 4/10

Age range: 7-10

Price: $31.50
