Intro to Stand-Up Comedy

Laughter is the music of the world!  Nothing makes us happier than a room full of laughter.   Now, all of our incredibly funny community can come together to learn the art of doing Stand-Up Comedy!  From style and timing to mastering stage-fright and being in the spotlight, there is a lot of diverse training needed to make the crowds roll in the aisles with laughter.   We will take a look at it all while learning how to write and perform our own stand-up routines!

Ages:  8 and up

Class size (min/max): 4/8

Lead ​Instructor: Rick Olson from EDGE Theatre NFP

Assistant Instructor: Kevin Johnson from EDGE Theatre NFP

Cost: $140

NOTES:   This class will require some writing.  Paper and pencils are needed. Also, this class will require kindness and openness to other people's sense of humor.  

Multi-Sibling Discount-  If two siblings sign up for the same class, first student is $140, second student is $119

Multi-Class Discount-  For a student in more than one EDGE class.  The first class is $140, all additional classes are $119
