HISTORY THROUGH THE MAP


Why does that state/country have such an odd border? What geographical influences have shaped the culture of a place? How did that city end up thriving there? Looking at maps can tell us so much more than just directions! Maps show the evolution and history of entire regions. In this class we will study specific areas and times on maps and the histories and stories behind what we are seeing. Not only a great class for learning history, but also great for learning basic geography as well!
