Farnsworth Family Day

Introducing our new Farnsworth Family Day! For just $20 per family*, you and your kids can spend up to 5 hours experiencing the autumn colors of Dr. Edith Farnsworth’s riverside property on our wooded walking paths. We’re partnering with Kendall County Forest Preserve, Fox Valley Rendering, Friends of the Fox Valley, Open Space Art Gallery & Studios, Boy Scout Troop 40, and Yorkville Chamber GreenConnect for this day of family fun!

Activities include:

  • Educational Activities on Perspective Drawing, River Ecology & Health, Northern Illinois Birds, & Waste Disposal
  • Introduction to Collages
  • LEGO Building
  • Yard Games
  • S’mores

*Ticket covers up to six (6) family members; additional members will be charged at the door. Adult supervision is required at all times. Tickets do not provide access to the Farnsworth House. Guided tours sold separately.
