This year’s festival is all about the women (past and present) who have shaped the Chicago we know today.

During Girls Build! Day, attendees can meet representatives from more than 15 museums, youth programs, design firms and pro-girl agencies to learn about opportunities for girls in the Chicago area. They'll also have the opportunity to make and test solutions at STEM activity stations.

Curious about STEM careers? Girls are encouraged to bring their questions to help shape the conversation. During the festival, they'll hear about the unique challenges and successes from female professionals who pursued careers in architecture, engineering and design.

NOTES

• All girls must be accompanied by an adult.
• Refreshments will be served, and every participant will walk away with a goody bag.
• Due to the on-going COVID19 pandemic, drop-in attendance is not allowed. Masks will be required in all indoor CAC spaces.
