Youth Opera Council: Lyric Opera of Chicago

Lyric’s Youth Opera Council is seeking new members for the 2017/18 opera season!

Apply to the Youth Opera Council (YOC) and join other high school students who are passionate about opera and the performing arts.

YOC members have amazing experiences:

Meet Lyric Opera artists — from singers to orchestra members
Explore behind the scenes with Lyric staff members
Plan and attend events/programs for fellow high school students
Experience fabulous Lyric productions!

Does the Youth Opera Council sound perfect for you?

Apply for the 2017/18 Council by Monday, May 1.

All applicants must be in high school during the 2017/18 school year and be able to commit to evening meetings at Lyric Opera of Chicago twice a month.

The Chicago Gifted Community Center (CGCC) is a member-driven 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created by parents to support the intellectual and emotional growth of gifted children and their families.

We are an all volunteer-based organization that relies on annual memberships from parents, professionals, and supporters to provide organizers with web site operations, a registration system, event insurance, background checks, etc.
