The neuroscience of the brain can be overwhelmingly complex or a message of hope! Dr. Zehr offers science as a message of hope! Join us for a delightful hands-on engaging evening with this educator, parent, international speaker and trainer. With 25 years immersed in the Feurstein method, Dr. Zehr will bring us strategies to use immediately:

    • Mediated Learning Experience
    • 28 Cognitive Functions for Life
    • Neuroscience to Use
    • Growth Mindset Techniques
Our co-host and CGCC Professional member, MAGE, has opened a Feuerstein program in Chicago . Their first and long awaited mediation session began in October with an initial cohort of 5 students ages 9+.

See you on Dec. 10 at 7:00 p.m.!

    Jeanne Zehr, Ph.D.

Whether you are a 4 year old who cannot sit still, a 10 year old struggling in school, an adult recovering from an addiction, a CEO who is overwhelmed with too many tasks, or  a highly gifted underachiever, Dr. Zehr can help!

Jeanne Zehr is an international educator. She served 35 years as a classroom teacher and in public school administration. She devoted 14 of those years to improving achievement of students in Title I schools, where poverty levels are high. She founded the first  program for gifted students in her school district.

An alumna of the University of St. Francis, she then completed her Master’s Degree in Learning Disabilities and Administration at IPFW. Her doctorate was earned at Indiana State University in Educational Leadership. Her research on “Changing Belief Systems of Teachers” was honored as Dissertation of the Year.

She founded The MINDCAP Center in Fort Wayne, a place that provides both training and clinical services in the Israeli cognitive skills method, the Feuerstein Program, to children and adults.

She now serves as the Director of Feuerstein Programs, North America for the Feuerstein Institute in Israel. Dr. Zehr has lectured in the Netherlands, Czech Republic, Canada, Denmark, Australia, South Korea, South Africa, France, Ethiopia, and Italy. She provided training to counselors and teachers in Cambodia and Thailand who care for underage girls rescued from human sex trafficking. This work was accomplished in coordination with Destiny Rescue.

Corporate workshops and one-to-one employee programs are provided for organizations to develop skills in the neuroscience of leadership, stress reduction, and growth mindset.

Dr. Zehr’s keen interest in the brain translates into empowering others for teaching and learning through her dynamic hands-on training courses and presentations.
