Travel by motor coach to Irene Quarry in Rockford, Illinois. Collect Ordovician Period marine fossils in dolomitic limestone. This is a working quarry with fresh spoil piles. Collectable fossils include brachiopods, cephalopods, corals, crinoids, gastropods, and more.

Field Trip - 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Ages 8 years to adult
Fee: $45.00 per person
