2019 Wild Things Conference

The conference will be held on Saturday, February 23rd, 2019 between 9:00am and 6:00pm at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, 5555 N River Rd, Rosemont, IL 60018.


Wild Things 2019 will feature over 100 Presentations, 60 Exhibits, and a multitude of Performances, Poster Sessions and Networking Opportunities – all celebrating this region’s nature and how people enjoy and protect it.

With our larger venue, Wild Things 2019 may host up to 3,000 attendees this year.


The 2019 Keynote speaker is Gary Nabhan, noted ecologist and author of many books including Enduring Seeds (1989), The Forgotten Pollinators (1996), and Food from the Radical Center (2018). Mr. Nabhan’s talk is entitled: Restoring Nature, Food and Justice
