Forging Tools for the Garden and Grill

Learn the trade of blacksmithing at the Smart Museum!

Join us in our outdoor sculpture garden, check out a mobile forge, and feast on delicious garden greens and grilled burgers, dogs, and mushrooms! Try your hand at bending and shaping metal and learn the process of simple, effective toolmaking with artists Hannah Hirsekorn and Jim Duignan, who will be on site forging an edition of iron garden tools with hand-made wooden handles.

FREE, drop-in. All materials provided. Open to all ages and skill levels.
