Magical Mysteries FUNshop!

Grades 3-4

Is it magic, or is it science? Our budding scientists will be investigating several seemingly magical events to discover if they really are magic - or if there is more happening than meets the eye. Come see why slime is attracted to magnets, and so much more!

Grades 5-6

Certain illusions help magicians appear to defy natural forces (such as gravity) and do the impossible! Students in this FUNshop will build a device to perform a floating object trick right from their own hands, and build and test a device that allows them to create and visualize holographic-like images. Along the way, students will discover the underlying STEM principles which allow these illusions to exist!

Fee: $45. Two scholarship per grade grouping available. Scholarship application closes August 31.
