Tween Saturdays

  • October 05, 2019
  • 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM (EDT)
  • Field Museum, Chicago

Middle schoolers go behind the scenes to get an up-close encounter with our collections and exhibitions. Click here for complete details.

Field Museum Members $25, Non-members $30

Upcoming Dates

Register your tween to spend a Saturday examining Field Museum specimens. Designed just for students in sixth through eighth grades, these day-long, hands-on experiences teach middle school students about fishes, insects, mummies, and even dinosaur fossils.

Tweens go behind the scenes to learn about how and why scientists collect specimens, perform their own observations, and get hands-on experience applying what they’ve learned. Sessions run from 10am to 3pm and focus on themes based on our collection.
