What to expect at Girls Build! Day

The day includes an all-female panel discussion about STEM careers. While drop-in attendance is allowed, we encourage you to plan for participation in the full day, as this is a programmed event with specific start times. Here's a sneak peek at the program:

10-11:30am

Meet representatives from more than 15 museums, youth programs, design firms and pro-girl agencies to learn about opportunities for girls in the Chicago area. Make and test solutions at STEM activity stations.

11:30am-1pm

Curious about STEM careers? Bring your questions to help shape the conversation. Girls will hear about the unique challenges and successes a panel of female professionals faced as they pursued careers in architecture, engineering and design.

Notes:
  • All girls must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Refreshments will be served, and every participant will walk away with a goody bag.
  • Online registration is not available for this program. To register, call 312.922.8687.
