Science Speaker Series

Danielle Norcini, Yale Ph.D., will speak on

“The neutrino: a particle with an identity crisis”.

She plans to spend her postdoc in Chicago developing instruments to measure astrophysical neutrinos and other cosmic particles, probing fundamental physics and cosmology, and she will discuss how we came to know about neutrinos, the quantum phenomenon of neutrino oscillations, and what neutrinos can tell us about the Universe.
