The Twice Exceptional Child in
the Age of Virtual School 

- Coping with Learning at Home -

Has learning from home brought home the need for 2E strategies at your home? What is working for you? What additional supports or strategies do you wish you had available to you? Bring your questions, bring your concerns, bring your solutions. We'll have a moderated discussion with parents who are starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel.  

The Chicago Gifted Community Center is all about building communities. We would like to build our Twice Exceptional Parenting community. We are interested in people who are current looking for diagnoses and solutions, but we are also looking for people who have been there and can share their stories. Won't you join us? 

On the discussion we will have:

• Niamh Muir,  whose 2e son who has been attending online school full-time before the current pandemic!  Niamh is a CGCC board member. 
• Carole Jones, whose 2E son has attended a variety of schools and is newly home and schooling virtually.  Carole is the founder of SOS for 2E and the new president of CGCC.
• Pam Shaw, a teacher with the Illinois Virtual School. Pam is also on the CGCC board. 

We will meet online using the Zoom meeting software, which will allow you to join the meeting on your computer, via an app on your phone, or by calling in on a dedicated phone number.
