Many students, whether or not they admit it openly, are “schoolsick” - they miss the social structures, teacher relationships, and routines of going to school each day. As a result, many students have been reluctant to embrace online learning, where new routines, new platforms, and new methods of assessment are being used. This webinar will emphasize hands-on activities and strategies that embrace a gifted student’s complexity with a “whole child” approach.
There is a $20 registration fee for SENG members and $40 for non-members. Deadline to register is 5/26/20 at 5 pm and all registrants will have access to the recorded webinar. Note that the time advertised (7:30 pm to 9 pm) on SENG's website is Eastern Daylight Time, thus adjust accordingly for Central Time, if applicable.
