ONLINE - Shakespeare Contest

  • September 11, 2020
  • 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM
  • Zoom, Niles Maine District Public Library
Shakespeare Project of Chicago: So You Think You Know Shakespeare

This program combines education and fun in a TV game show format, similar to that of “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.” When folks register for the program, they indicate in their response whether they would like to be a contestant or simply an audience member.  Contestants proceed through a series of 10 multiple choice, Shakespeare-related questions of increasing difficulty, progressing from the lowest level (Knight) to the highest (King/Queen).  Each contestant gets three "lifelines":  50/50 (they take away two incorrect answers), ask the audience (they poll the Zoom attendees on what they think the answer is) and ask an actor (guest actor from The Shakespeare Project helps).
