Teen Tuesday - Exploring Land Use and Climate Change

We will explore how our landscapes are being transformed by humans.  In this program, we talk about the connections between climate change, urban forestry, and environmental justice with urban foresters from DC organization Casey Trees, ecologist Dr. Kimberly Komatsu, and DC teens interested in urban sustainability. Our guests will help you apply what they’ve learned in their work to make positive change in your own community, no matter where you live!

Who you'll meet: Casey Trees staff Melinda Peters and Kelsey Desmond, DC teens, and Kimberly Komatsu, ecologist at the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center
