The Importance of Understanding Giftedness as a Life-Characteristic

A   question that often arises centers on whether or not a person needs to know  they are gifted. This webinar proposes   the view that giftedness is more than a mark of talent or academic strengths. Giftedness includes unique characteristics   that stay with a person long after traditional K12 settings. Gifted people   need to understand who they are and how they feel if they are to develop true empathy for themselves and others.

Dr. Maria Katsaros-Molzahn, Ed.D., the presenter of this webinar, is a Gifted and Talented Specialist with the Oregon School District, Oregon, WI. During her tenure Dr. KM has worked with   students from diverse backgrounds.

Fees to register: $20 SENG Members and $40 Non-members. Registration deadline is September 1, 2020 at 4 pm. All registrants will have access to the recorded SENGinar.  For details and registration, please see here
