Chemical Concoctions!
Explore the essentials of chemistry through hands-on experiments. Investigate solutions and
solvents to create chemical reactions. Examine states
of matter, atoms, and molecules. Probe the periodic table. Cutting edge experimentation is welcome but blowing up the lab, strictly forbidden!
Course content is geared to meet student interests. Instruction is
differentiated to appropriately challenge all grade and ability levels.

All classes and activities of The Center for Gifted are modified to meet
current CDC and government guidelines. Students wear masks, carry their own water bottles and unscented hand sanitizer, and are reminded as needed to wash hands and maintain distances. Our in-person programs have been operating safely and successfully under Illinois and CDC guidelines since June of 2020.

Our Elmhurst location is asthma-friendly. Parents and students are
asked to arrive scent-free, wearing no perfumes or other scented body products.
