Be a Kids Climate Summit Panelist!
Registration required before March 1, 2021.

The Kids Climate Summit 2021: Focus on Community will take the form of two town hall meetings, one for upper elementary students and one for middle school students, held on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 in the afternoon and evening. All interested students in third through eighth grades will be invited to attend their town hall. (Registration for attendees will open in March.) At the meetings a panel of students will pose questions to a group of experts.

Would your child like to be one of our panelists? Panelists will meet for 6 weeks leading up to Summit, so March 4 - April 8, at 4 pm, for 50 minutes a week. They will research the experts in their town hall and the experts' areas of expertise, additionally they will learn the dynamics of a town hall meeting, how to pose meaningful and insightful questions, and how to work together on a panel. This course is offered free of charge, but attendance is expected.

Register now to receive an email explaining how our panelists will be selected. Each child will be asked to explain why they would like to be on the panel and what actions they have taken or would like to take in their community to be a more climate-aware citizen. There may also be a phone interview. You may register multiple children, please submit a separate registration for each one.
