Winter Wonderings with Cosley Zoo - Biomimicry

Have you ever wondered about how nature can help people? Biomimicry uses strategies found in nature to design solutions to human problems. By studying nature, we have learned how to create buildings that don’t need air conditioning, how to design high-speed trains, and how to create wetsuits that keep us warm in very cold water. Join us to learn more about how the animal world has inspired inventors! This program will include time for audience questions.

Concepts presented in this program are appropriate for grades 2 - adult.

This class requires a minimum number of participants in order to run. Registration fees are non-refundable unless the zoo needs to cancel the program, in which case participants will be notified and will receive a full refund.

$20 fee. For more details and registration, please see here. For more animal related events by the same provider, please check out their Eventbrite page at this link.
