Presidents' Day Program

Commemorate Presidents’ Day virtually as we explore the leadership and legacy of the nation’s 16th president, Abraham Lincoln, through family-friendly exhibition tours, music, arts workshops, and more. Special virtual activities include a visit with Lincoln as portrayed by Kevin J. Wood and a hands-on history arts workshop with teaching artist Justin Ricks. More details to come; we look forward to seeing you!

This event is free of charge; the Museum would greatly appreciate a donation in any amount. Zoom links will be provided after registration.

All activities are designed for participants age 6 and up.

11:00 a.m. – Social Studies | Spaces
Virtual tour of Lincoln’s Chicago with Paul Durica

12:00 p.m. – Social Studies | Theater
“A Visit with Mr. Lincoln” with Kevin J. Wood

Design a campaign poster with teaching artist Justin Ricks
