Did you know that Amelia Earhart once paid a visit to our villages? In October 1935, Earhart visited the OPRF area and gave lectures at the 19th Century Club, OPRF High School, and the Austin Men’s Club. This March, she will return to the area...sort of...

Join us online on Saturday, March 20 when historian, writer, and actress Leslie Goddard will appear as Amelia Earhart to tell the life story of this colorful, courageous, and charismatic aviation pioneer. This program is part of our March Women’s History Month celebration.
