Virtual Environmental Lobby Day

Monday, April 26, will be this Spring’s Environmental Lobby Day. Unlike past years, where we woke up early to get on buses to go to Springfield, this year, we’ll participate in environmental lobby day from the comfort and safety of our own homes. This Spring we have the opportunity to pass key environmental legislation on pressing matters like clean energy jobs, environmental justice, and keeping our water safe from lead contamination. You can make a big impact moving this legislation along by participating in virtual lobby day. Will you join us? 

If you sign-up, you’ll join a virtual meeting with your State Representative and State Senator some time on April 26. The exact time of the meeting will be forwarded to you closer to the event. The IEC is delighted to have students and their families join these meetings.

You’ll also have the opportunity to join a virtual rally with hundreds of other environmentalists from across the state.

Finally, you’ll be updated on other ways to support key legislation throughout the week as part of a week of action. You can sign up here!
