From the Big Bang to Chicagoland

Prof. Shane Larson, Associate Director of CIERA, will be presenting a virtual lecture to the Northwestern Suburban Astronomers Club of Schaumberg, IL on Friday March 25th, 2022 at 7pm CST. The title of his talk is "From the Big Bang to Chicagoland: The Cosmic biography of atoms." In this talk, Dr Larson will consider the biography of an atom, from the Big Bang to Chicagoland, and explore how the evolution and changes of a single atom can be traced and followed in the lives and deaths of stars.
