Midwest Academy for Gifted Education and the Chicago Gifted Community Center are excited to bring you a Free Gifted Parenting Education Series for the 4th season, this is still via zoom due to the pandemic. The format of each event in the series is an expert panel presentation on the topic, followed by 15-30 minutes of questions for the panelists.

We have 2-part Series on ADHD.

This is an advanced ADHD+Adult workshop for gifted adults with ADHD, as well as parents and professionals supporting those individuals.

This workshop is by special community request! Many gifted individuals end up masking their ADHD with their cognitive strengths, and live a life full of debilitating difficulties. Some can’t launch into the adult world due to the challenges of living with ADHD and are stuck. Others make it, only to crash. Others live with adversity which creates constant strain, stress, and anxiety. There will be a follow up workshop on Adult Gifted ADHD.

This program most appropriate for Adults with ADHD and their supporters, who are either already diagnosed or at this point are basically under the assumption that this is what it is based on traits and challenges.

You may have gotten some rudimentary recommendations from the neuropsychologist but some of them are impossible either at work and or at home, or they plain don’t work. Let’s say you tried medication but it’s touch and go or didn’t even work, or doesn’t take care of everything. A magic pill isn’t for 100% of the cases. Now what? Time to find out exactly what is possible. A lot is possible! Do not give up! Help is here. Learn about how the brain learns differently and functions in ADHD as the most powerful intervention for many ADHD individuals and caregivers to learn about. Educators welcome. This is a 2-hour workshop.
