Teen Workshop - Animal Care at Shedd

Connect with animals, your peers and Shedd staff during our Teen Workshops. Learn about local and global conservation and explore careers at Shedd. Join us to discover new interests, engage in STEAM topics and investigate the aquatic world!

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to care for over 30,000 animals across more than 1,000 different species? Shedd’s dedicated animal care staff provide the highest quality of care to animals as different as corals and belugas, or bluegill and macaws. With that many different species, there’s a lot to learn!

AGES: 14 - 18 years old or currently enrolled in high school

COST: Free, registration required
