'Scopes in the City

Net Dipping and Telescopes

Search the pond for invertebrates, amphibians and other aquatic organisms and join Adler Planetarium Scopes in the City to view the night sky with their telescopes.

Adler Planetarium astronomers and educators are bringing the museum—and the universe—a little closer to you with free telescope observing opportunities across Illinois! At this particular event, we'll be looking at Jupiter and Saturn. Please note: all 'Scopes in the City events are weather dependent.
