Teen Workshop: Mysterious Mussels

Connect with animals, your peers and Shedd staff during our Teen Workshops. Learn about local and global conservation and explore careers at Shedd. Join us to discover new interests, engage in STEAM topics and investigate the aquatic world!

AGES: 14 - 18 years old or currently enrolled in high school

COST: Free, registration required

Mysterious Mussels

Did you know that there are local freshwater mussels that inhabit waterways across the region? Mussels are important animals that play a key role in keeping waterways healthy, but many of us know surprisingly little about them. Come to Shedd Aquarium and uncover the secrets of local mussels—no gym required!
