Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) affects millions of Americans including an increasing number of children. ADHD is one of the most commonly diagnosed and widely misunderstood neurological conditions we face today.

The Disruptors documentary allows us to hear from several people about their ADHD, and takes an immersive look at our approach to ADHD that debunks the most harmful myths, intimately taking viewers inside a number of families as they navigate the challenges and the surprising triumphs of living with ADHD.

Join The Family Institute in-person on Thursday, October 27th at 6pm for the Chicago screening of The Disruptors at the Chicago Cultural Center.

Immediately following the screening The Family Institute's Drs. Nancy Burgoyne, Chief Clinical Officer, Smita Gautam, Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist and Tramaine Presley, Director of Child, Adolescent and Family Services will join Nancy Armstrong, Filmmaker and Executive Producer, for a panel discussion on the film and the multiple perspectives surrounding ADHD. Evelyn Holmes from ABC 7 Chicago will serve as moderator for the event.
