Mesopotamian Stamps, Seals, and Cylinders

  • January 21, 2023
  • 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
  • The Oriental Institute of the University of Chicago

Enjoy an engaging, interactive, hands-on educational program where we will check out the galleries to learn all about stamp and cylinder seals. You will get to see examples that can inspire your own design. In addition to time in the galleries, we will also be in our downstairs classroom, where OI educators will walk you through the process of creating your very own seal that you can take home with you at the end!

This program is appropriate for children ages 8 and up.

Please be advised that our elevator is under construction. To get to our classroom, you must be able to walk down one flight of stairs.

If cost is a barrier to entry, please do not hesitate in emailing oi-education@uchicago.edu! A member of the OI Education Team will be happy to talk with you.

OI non-members $5/$10, Click here for complete details.
