Davidson Academy Online is the first fully online school for profoundly gifted middle and high school students. Profoundly gifted students are three standard deviations above the norm on the bell curve, so they are at the extreme end of the intelligence, or IQ, continuum. Unlike traditional school settings, Davidson Academy Online classes group students by ability rather than age.
Davidson Academy Online open houses are an opportunity for you to hear more about our school through the voices of our students, parents, and instructors. The open houses will include a very brief presentation on admissions and curriculum followed by students, parents, and instructors sharing their perspectives on our school. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions throughout the open house. Questions that are global in nature will be answered during the open house. Questions which are more personal in nature may be answered after the open house.
