Morning session: Wind-Powered Candy Cars!

Afternoon session: Duct Tape Design

For students in 1st-5th grades. Choose morning, afternoon, or both. Morning session is 9:00-11:30, afternoon session 12:30-3:00. Tuition $50/session. Click here for complete details and registration.

Students enrolled for morning AND afternoon enjoy lunch and recreation 11:30 to 12:30. Location: First United Methodist Church, 232 South York Street.

- Course Descriptions -

Duct Tape Design: Unleash the power and potential within a humble roll of tape! Decorate your guitar, backpack, jeans, ipad, locker . . .. Create your own fanny pack, origami cubes, flowers, pen tops, face mask, magnets, jewelry, purse, wallet . . .. Bring your own ideas. The artistic and practical possibilities are endless! (Tapes and etc. will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own.)

Wind-Powered Candy Cars: Investigate and demonstrate the power and physics of wind as an energy source as you construct your own wind-powered candy car. Explore Bernoulli's principle as it applies to energy and the modern scientific research inspired by it.
