Reimagine and Empower Your Future: Career Advice and Improvement

Karen Lambert, MS, FACHE, President of the North Illinois Patient Service Area and President of Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington, IL

Manuel Cuevas-Trisán,Vice President for Human Resources, Harvard University

The jobs of the future will look very different from the jobs of today – and changing demands due to technological advancements are going to mean a need for new skills, necessary mindset, uniquely human skills and radical collaboration to be successful in the future of work. How can we rethink our current career path and adapt to the future of work when no one can accurately predict artificial intelligence’s impact over the long term, so we can build meaningful career and personal relationships to thrive in the digital age?

We invite you to be a part of the transformative conversation as our special guest speakers, President of the North Illinois Patient Service Area and President of Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital Karen Lambert and Vice President for Human Resources, Harvard University Manuel Cuevas-Trisán, share their personal career journeys and the lessons they have learned along the way and to:

  • Embrace change, get the perspective, mindset and skills you need to future-proof yourself and to succeed in the new collaborative world and future workplace
  • Connect the dots between today’s learning and tomorrow’s careers
  • Gain practical tips, increase your social acumen and learn how networking will allow you to stay on top in the modern technical world
  • Learn ways to create and build your personal brand, spot opportunities and use them to stay relevant, innovate fearlessly and succeed despite uncertainty by making change work for you
