Family Day

Join the Mitchell Museum of the American Indian for the 2nd Annual Family Day and enjoy Native crafts, storytelling, food, music, shopping, and more!

Throughout the day-long event, visitors of all ages can visit info booths from partner organizations, buy handmade products from local Native artists, sample Native American foods, listen to live musical performances from Indigenous musicians, learn to make Native American pottery, participate in a critter visit, and explore the ongoing exhibits.

Family Day is FREE, thanks to the generosity of our sponsor, Berkshire Hathaway Home Services in Evanston.

The Chicago Gifted Community Center (CGCC) is a member-driven 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created by parents to support the intellectual and emotional growth of gifted children and their families.

We  are an all volunteer-based organization that relies on annual memberships from parents, professionals, and supporters to provide organizers with web site operations, a registration system, event insurance, background checks, etc.
