Chicago Architecture Center's Teen Saturday Studio program is back! This exciting program, now in partnership with Harold Washington College, offers completely free 3-hour workshops for high school students interested in exploring the world of architecture and design.
Led by experienced professionals in architecture, design, engineering, and other related fields, Teen Saturday Studios offer a unique opportunity to learn from those in the field and develop valuable skills that can be applied in a range of real-world settings. Join us for an exciting workshop on architectural design. This workshop is designed to introduce you to the principles and practices of architecture and provide you with hands-on experience in building your own structures. Through a series of interactive activities and design challenges, you'll learn about the design process and how architects think and create. Using LEGO bricks, teens will work in small groups to generate their own design solutions, and discover how to start small and build BIG!
