Plato from Venice to Illinois - Greek Language throughout the Centuries

On the occasion of the International Greek Language Day, this year we have the rare opportunity to admire a copy of the first edition of Plato’s works, prepared by the pioneer printer Aldus Manutius in Venice, 1513 and learn all about it from Professor Elias Petrou, Classics Library, UIUC. Keynote lecture by Professor Kirk Sanders, Department of Classics, UIUC.
