Fusion Academy Lincoln Park Invites You to Attend:  Lunch and Learn Speaker Series Event;  Back-to-School Anxiety

Returning to school isn't just about dealing with academic pressures.  There's also navigating the complex world of childhood social relationships. It's typical for children to experience some anticipatory anxiety leading up to the new school year--and for parents to notice a rise in worries.

While much of the focus around back-to-school anxiety centers around children, it's important to acknowledge that parents also experience a considerable amount of stress during this period.  This shift from the relaxed tempo of summer to the stringent demands of the school year brings with it a set of challenges for parents.  

Please join Bridget Iaccino, LCSW of Introspective Family Therapy as we discuss anxiety as it relates to going back to school and the impacts on children and their support systems.  We will address what it looks like for the family and ways in which we can support ourselves and them through it all!
