SENG Mental Health Signature Series

Asynchronous development reaches its widest span in profoundly gifted individuals. Early reading and rapidly expanding vocabularies provide access to complex content, while protean imagination, metaphorical thinking, and intuitive insights create a rich inner world. Yet, without the skills to organize and contain these capacities, emotional and cognitive flooding may result. Through a compelling case study, Dr. Grobman will illustrate therapeutic challenges and share both his client’s journey and his own emotional and intellectual responses as therapy unfolded.
