Join us for a guided night sky viewing event on Tuesday, February 24 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. This collaborative event between the Barrington Area Library, Northwest Suburban Astronomers, and Citizens for Conservation will begin about an hour after sunset (5:37 p.m.) when six planets — Jupiter, Uranus, Saturn, Neptune, Venus, and Mercury — will align in the sky.  Members of the Northwest Suburban Astronomers will set up telescopes and share information on the splendor of the night sky. Planets, the 1st quarter moon, and celestial objects including the Andromeda galaxy, Orion, Pleiades, Double Cluster in Perseus, Crab nebula, Owl Cluster, and others will be observed.  This event will be held at Hill ‘N Dale Preserve at 11801 Ridge Road, Barrington Hills.
