If your child is ahead, way ahead… the time to start planning for college is in elementary school, before it sneaks up on you. What do we mean, planning for college in elementary school? Well, if your child may be headed to early college, there are all sorts of challenges. If your child is headed toward taking AP and community college courses before they are in high school or early in high school, this talk is for you! Considering grade acceleration? Once again, you need this talk, especially if your child is likely to play college sports. We are not talking college applications - we are talking things that you will wish you knew a few years ahead of that process.
Midwest Academy for Gifted Education, a parent and teacher not-for-profit start-up, is the only private gifted school in the City of Chicago. They focus only on the gifted population/IQ of 130+ and they teach in multi-age classrooms which allows them to differentiate properly. They provide individualized and personalized instruction with the right balance of rigor, without pressure. They top off a well-rounded education with personal communications and partnership with parents.
