Life in the Prairie

  • August 23, 2014
  • 1:00 PM - 3:30 PM
  • Citizens for Conservation, Barrington

Spend the afternoon at Citizen's for Conservation  Flint Creek Preserve, discovering nature's diversity in the tallgrass prairie. Walk the trails, use nets, "shake a tree," look for animal tracks and much more, to see how many different plants and animals live here.

The class is open to children age 6 and over; caregivers are welcome to attend.

CFC members are free; nonmembers pay $5 for the first child and $1 for each additional child. Registration forms are available on the CGC website and are due by Saturday, August 16.
