Why are we seeing such a dramatic increase in the rates of children diagnosed as being on the spectrum? It’s because it is a better kind of brain and society is increasingly valuing this kind of mind. My presentation offers a different perspective on Asperger’s and the spectrum (yes, it still exists despite the DSM5). This talk also provides a fun and informative understanding of how to identify and serve these awesome kids who will grow up to create all of the fun things we use every day (Lego’s, Microsoft, Facebook, and more).
