According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) a growing number of healthcare-associated infections are caused by bacteria that are resistant to multiple antibiotics. Antibiotic resistance occurs when bugs outsmart drugs. Learn about the causes and effects of antibiotic resistance. Discuss how health workers, pharmacists, scientists, industry, policy makers and you can help.
