Citizens for Conservation Headquarters 1:00-3:00 p.m.

Join us as we use telescopes with filters that allow us to safely view the sun. See solar flares, prominences, filaments, and sunspots guided by local astronomers, Tom and Edith Auchter. Make sun prints, measure shadows, and more! This class is open to children ages 5 and up. Parents are welcome to attend. CFC members are free; nonmembers pay $5 for first child and $1 for each additional child. Click here to register.

The Chicago Gifted Community Center (CGCC) is a member-driven 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created by parents to support the intellectual and emotional growth of gifted children and their families.

We are an all volunteer-based organization that relies on annual memberships from parents, professionals, and supporters to provide organizers with web site operations, a registration system, event insurance, background checks, etc.
