CROCtoberfest - October 25, 2015

Help take a bite out of extinction by joining us at the Wildlife Discovery Center’s annual CROCtoberfest celebration on Sunday, October 25, 2015, from 10 am – 4 pm.

During this fun-filled event for all ages, you can meet live crocodilians, including Bubba the world famous American Alligator who will be on hand until 2pm.  Our expert staff and members of the Chicago Herpetological Society and the Madison Area Herpetological Society will give short talks about crocodiles and their kin, including some of our very own residents while also providing some close up encounters with a variety of reptiles.

There will also be:

• Kid-friendly activities
• Face Painting
• A story teller
• Craft vendors
• The WDC’s Wildside Store
• Food and refreshments

Your $5 per person admission fee, payable at the door (cash, check or credit card), will help the WDC maintain the high-level of care we provide our resident alligators and crocodiles. Additionally, a portion of the proceeds will help support crocodile conservation.
