Join in the Smart's free family activities every month! Each drop-in program features hands-on art activities and tours that encourage children and parents to engage in some creative looking. Saturday, September 12, 1–4 pm
Smart Fest
Celebrate the opening of Jessica Stockholder's colorful installation Rose's Inclination and make a huge collaborative sculpture using colorful plastic.

Saturday, October 3, 1–4 pm
Family Day: Rainbow Faces
Create colorful self portraits and face paintings inspired by works on view in Expressionist Impulses

Saturday, November 7, 1–4 pm
Family Day: Pillow Poppin'
Silkscreen, sew, and stuff your own pillow. Inspired by works on view in Expressionist Impulses

Saturday, December 5, 1–4 pm
Family Day: Costume Mania
Make colorful costumes and write mini-plays inspired by theatrical illustrations by George Grosz.

Saturday, January 8, 1–4 pm
Family Day: Family Day: Yellow Trees and Green Beaches
Paint unnaturally colored natural landscapes to brighten up the winter.
